Our exploration to the Inca culture will start in Sillustani, an important archaeological site 34 Kms. from Puno (3,915 meters above sea level). The small lake of Umayo, is in this region, designeted as the cemetery of the old Kollas culture. From Umayo we will enjoy a full day excursion to Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world. Our visit begins with the floating islands of the Uros, the island of Balsero and Taquile, each rich in culture. Enjoy the Altiplano with its spectacular scenery and be able to see flocks of Llama and Alpaca, grazing on the windswept land between adobe villages. Our cultural exploration will continue in Cusco City to observe the Incan archaeological sites and the Spanish architecture.
